The Metaverse moment is progressing rapidly these days, but it’s worth stopping by one of the moments that happened on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange in New York on Friday.

I was there to witness Cathy Hackl, the Maven of the Metaverse. The Journey team rang the opening bell of the exchange at the celebration of the Metaverse ritual.

Hackl, known as “The Godmother of Metaverse,” has sold her consultancy Futures Intelligence Group to Journey, a metaverse agency that helps brands build things for the digital world. Journey worked with Manticore Games to create a Nasdaq experience within the virtual realm of Core. And while the hackle was speaking in front of the opening bell, Nasdaq played an animation from the core.

Hackle also attracted a lot of people from the journey to the stage, as well as the various women who are part of the brand targeting the Metaverse. It was an interesting moment to watch, and CNBC broadcast the segment for a few minutes, which is quite rare for such a broadcast of the opening bell.

“I’m excited to be here. Today, hundreds or thousands of people are starting to land in New York for NFT NYC, so I can’t help but feel creativity. Renaissance is me. What we have and what we build is more important than ever, “Hackle said. “As a co-founder of the journey, I’m not the typical face I see when thinking about technology. That’s why it’s important for everyone to know that this future is for all of us. Instead of defining, let’s build a metaverse and create it together. “

Hackl said: “As you know, we are announcing the Metaverse Studio today. We are a group of passionate game developers, futurists, technicians and strategists gathered to help brands navigate the Metaverse. I’d like to tell you in the Metaverse that we are all builders of the world, and now is the time and now we are building. “

The bell that rings prior to this week’s NFTNYC event took place both in the physical world and in the Metaverse, Hackle said in a short talk.

Journey is one of the companies building the world’s largest brand experience on many platforms, including Roblox, Fortnite Creative, Decentraland, Sandbox, Rec Room, VR Chat, and Horizon. The journey is headed by Andrew Jimmerman, a former CEO of Frog Design. Journey’s backers include the private equity firm GrowthCatalyst Partners.

Like Jordan Edelstein, Head of Business Development at Manticore Games, Zimmerman was at hand for the foreseeable future.

When the countdown to the ringing of the bell reached zero, the group cheered very loudly. Everyone had the opportunity to take pictures on stage, including a group of women where hackles are currently gathering. Hackle signed the document and said she actually rang the opening bell and so on. Then they went out and saw their faces on the big screen in Times Square.
